Invitation
On behalf of the European Association of
Dental Public Health (EADPH), the Romanian Association of
Oro-Dental Public Health (ARSPOD) and the Faculty of Dental
Medicine, “Ovidius” University of Constanta, have the
privilege to invite you to Constanta to join the 15th
Annual Meeting of the EADPH on September 9-11, 2010.
The conference venue will be at at Malibu Hotel, the first
hotel as you entering Mamaia resort. Constanta city has a
population of 350.000 inhabitants and is the second biggest
city of Romania situated on the coast of the Black Sea and
is also the largest city-port at the Black Sea.
The scientific program of this meeting will include
lectures from outstanding invited speakers, special
interest working groups, presentation of posters and oral
presentations.
A two day workshop on Research Methodology will be held
before the 2010 European Association for Dental Public
Health Congress. It will take place on Tuesday, 7 and
Wednesday 8 September at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of
the Ovidius University, Constanta. The aim of the workshop
is to help colleagues to improve the quality of their
research by achieving a better understanding of how to
design research projects and write research protocols. The
workshop has kindly been sponsored by GABA International. A
number of travel fellowships will be made available to help
colleagues from economically less well developed countries
outside Romania attend the workshop.
The format for the two days will consist of a series of
short presentations by the teachers followed by and
interspersed with small group discussions. Participants are
invited to bring draft research protocols and unsubmitted
papers with them to discuss with the teachers.
The teachers will be Professors Broukal, Declerck, Eaton
and Drs Eichler, Harris and Leroy.
Participants are also cordially welcome to join our social
program which will include a “Get Together” Party, Opening
Ceremony, Official Reception and Congress Dinner. For
registered accompanying persons an interesting program for
will be offered in Constanta during the scientific
sessions. For those who are interested, we will organize a
2-days trip, after the Congress, in the Danube Delta to
admire the breathtaking landscapes and bird colonies.

seond half of January 2010.
